Grade 2 giant fall leaf paintings

I love how unique they all look!
We started with a study of the lines of the leaf, notice how the pattern of veins starts from a central line. We studied how warm and cool colors can make each other stand out when separated and placed side by side. Finally we practiced making outlines in black with the brushes, noticing how you get thicker lines when pressing harder on the brush, and thinner lines when pressing delicately.
